About us:
The Falegnameria Nautica (= Nautical Carpentry) was founded in 1998 as independent company on the shipyard Ocean in order to assure its clients a maximum of quality while repairing and maintaining their sailing and motor yachts.
Its founder and owner Thomas Krönert completed his studies as a carpenter in Germany and worked afterwards as a boatcarpenter and boatbuilder in boatyards at the Lake of Costance, in Hamburg and overseas. Therefore, he is in the position to offer you German handicraft and precise work combined with international experiences. Our case histories will show you that a precise execution of handicraft is more satisfactory. You will see that professional repairs will offer you more safety and you will recognise that both together will increase the value of your yacht.
According to the motto "small but excellent" the owner will carry out most of the qualified work by himself. A modern and complete machine park supports fast working progress and high-quality in the execution. For skilled work other than the described we have proven contacts directly on the shipyard Ocean at our disposal.
Besides the long standing experience in the boat building and carpentry sector, the owner covered over 40.000 seamiles as a professional skipper, also overseas, and he owes long standing experience as sailing instructor in the Mediterranean.
The Falegnameria Nautica is located in the shipyard Ocean, directly at the East-West canal of Monfalcone (Lisert) - a location which is easily reachable by land and by sea. The shipyard disposes of safe berthes directly at the canal, in the hangar and on the yard. Thanks to a hoisting crane of about 20 tons, bigger ships can be easily lifted.
